What is a Mini Session?
For some, the thought of scheduling, and sitting for an hour or longer photoshoot is a daunting and slightly scary task. But it does not have to be! Enter the mini photo session.
A mini session is basically a fun-sized photoshoot! As the term implies, it is a very short photo session. While our normal custom photo sessions usually run 1-1.5 hours, our mini photo sessions generally run between 20 and 30 minutes. They include a location chosen by us (the photographer) and do not allow for any outfit changes. Mini sessions might also be themed, covering everything from holiday to seasonal shoots.
Mini sessions are fun, relaxed, and exciting – so be sure to get in on the action! We only offer a limited number of mini sessions each year, so you will want to book your space as soon as we announce a mini session event so that you can save your spot.
About the Photographer
I’m Heather. First and foremost, I am a mother of two. They are my reason for being. I love watching them giggle, play, grow, learn, and thrive. They are my why. Our time with our kids goes so fast. I blinked and my little, tiny babies are now nine and ten years old. How can that be!?
I have been photographing babies, children, and families for almost 22 years now. I have always loved creating timeless portraits for families, but it wasn’t until my babies came that I truly understood the importance of it. Our time with these little people is so fleeting. The saying “the days are long, but the years are short” is so accurate. We only have this short time with them, and I am so grateful, and honored to be able to help families preserve this time with their little ones.
